Buyers - Residential & Commercial:
Residential Buyers:
Buying a new home can be very stressful. It is our goal to make you more confident in your purchase by providing you with a comprehensive inspection covering the exterior, interior and property. You are invited and encouraged to attend the inspection. Unless it is absolutely impossible, we would like you to be present to discuss our findings immediately following your inspection. This will afford you the opportunity to ask questions concerning your home inspection. A written report with summary is usually delivered at the time of the inspection, but in some cases will be sent to you within 24 hours.
We also offer additional services such as new home inspections, progress inspections during home construction, certified Radon testing, septic system testing, functioning pools, and unattached structures. Many people are under the impression that because a home is newly constructed, it will be free of any defects. Unfortunately, this is far from the truth! Many of the defects we find in homes are a result of work not done or done improperly while the home was under construction. The range of these defects begins with nuisance items such as doors that do not latch to serious structural failure. It is to your benefit that we catch these problems in order for the contractor to correct them prior to your move into the dwelling. If necessary, we will make a follow-up inspection to be sure the problems we list have been addressed properly.
Another service that we provide is a partial inspection of the home. Examples of this type of inspection are roof, basement or structure only.

Commercial Buyers:
Home inspections are standardized by home inspection organizations, and regulated by the state. Commercial inspections have no strict criteria. This allows the purchaser to determine exactly what they want observed or tested during the inspection. In most instances, we perform the same type inspection as we do in a home inspection; structural, mechanical systems, grounds, roof, attic, etc. However, occasionally we inspect only the roof or the foundation, or, only specific items usually covered in a complete home inspection. The client makes the decision to suit their personal criteria. Our inspection team is qualified to inspect apartments, condominiums, strip stores, warehouses, and stand-alone buildings.

Residential & Commercial Sellers:
Serving Residential & Commercial Sellers:
When selling a home, you want to present it in the best condition possible. It is our job to find out if there are any hidden “surprises” that might be found if the potential buyer decides to get an independent inspection. We will thoroughly inspect your home (see under “Buyers” for a description of the inspection) for any problem areas that might slow down your selling experience. You will be able to give your potential buyer a copy of the inspection, and, should repairs need to be made, show them that you have made any necessary repairs. This is a very strong selling tool! It presents you and your home in the very best light possible. It has been shown that a pre-sale inspection actually speeds up the sale of a home!
